Is it just me, or did these Osama Bin Laden tapes come out at precisely the wrong time for Barack Obama?

They are both major headliners this week, and honestly, I've found myself double-taking more than once while quickly scanning the news --- and I'm a freaking blog-addled political junkie; I'm supposed to be on top of it.

In my quest for the old Ted Kennedy Osama-Obama tongue twister, I found the following CNN video from Dec. 2006. Make special note of the voter confusion then; Saddam Hussein even makes an appearance.

So I ask you: what are the chances CNN would EVER run this exact same piece today?
