CAIR Targets Abercrombie & Fitch

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) filed a complaint on behalf of a Muslim woman who was denied employment at Abercrombie & Fitch because of her head scarf:

The woman told CAIR-OK that a district manager claimed he could not hire her because her Islamic headscarf "does not fit the Abercrombie image."

The "Abercrombie image"? You mean this --- their Christmas catalog? (boobies ahead...)

Call me crazy, but maybe hijabs don't fit the "Abercrombie image." Of course, hijabs don't fit the "Obama image" either:

Two Muslim women at Barack Obama's rally in Detroit on Monday were barred from sitting behind the podium by campaign volunteers seeking to prevent the women's headscarves from appearing in photographs or on television with the candidate.
