On the very same day that Colin Powell's endorsement supposedly calmed the nerves of those worried about Obama's foreign policy inexperience, running mate Joe Biden makes the counter-argument --- God love 'im:

"Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

Think that'll find its way into a McCain ad?

UPDATE: Welcome, Confederate Yankee. Bob Owens makes an excellent point that I missed the first go around: not only does Biden promise that this crisis will occur, but that Obama will royally screw it up. Wow.

Maybe it's good that this crisis is here during your presidential election, and maybe it's bad. For sure there have to be some very "painful" precautions done. New government doesn't have to care about election for next 4 years and can act more freely. On the other hand - what if candidates make some very "cheap" and unreal promises about how to fight the crisis just to win the election and later they will have to fulfil them??

Thank you for sharing this info. It has opened my eyes. I have to think about the young people and I want someone with experience and someone I know loves his country. Obama is too much of a radical and he cast 130 present votes as Senator because he is hiding his true beliefs. He is definitely a socialist.Why else would the mainstream news organizations not be investigating and reporting his associations with radicals. Because they share his socialist views.If John Mccain had been assoc. with communist and Bill Ayers they would be all over him the way they are all over Joe the Plumber and Palin.
It is so clear. Why are people in denial. Are people so immoral that they no longer recognize wrong doing?

If my conversations with Obama supporters are any indication, many people are so amoral that they don't even recognize the existence of right and wrong much less the distinction between them.
