It is nice to be reminded that Ronaldus Maximus had a backbone.

I never forgot that Dhimmi was fwench...by way of Plains.

This great leader is sorely missed, especially now.

Commander in Chief Reagan, that is. Not so much the waste of skin at top newly incarnated in our most recently foolishly elected POTUS.

Carter's video was painful to watch. I think my ears are bleeding.

Men. And boys. We have the later in the White House, and those who seek to visit harm upon us are well aware of that fact.

So what was Reagan's response to the many acts of war against the US by Iran and its surrogates such as Hizb Allah?

Specifically, how did Regan respond to the 444-day hostage taking in tehran, the bombings of the US embassy, embassy annex, and marine baracks in Beirut, and various killings, hijackings and hostage-takings?

He rewarded the Iranians by selling them weapons.

The Republcans are just as pathetically weak as the Democrats. The bombing of Libya was a slap on the wrist. Today Iran threatens the middle east, slaughters Americans (with its IEDs) and is on the verge of developing a nuclear weapon, as a result of three decades of Republican and Democrat appeasment and surrender.

The Peanut farmer had, by 1979, thoroughly gutted our Military. Morale was in the gutter and our Ships and Warplanes were worn out from Viet Nam. Our guys in the Military didnt do anything wrong in Iran. DESERT 1 was , and will always be Carter's shame. HE was the one that deserted our Military in the sand. And this isnt even considering the Carter recession that Reagan had to deal with, the worst recession since the 30's actually. Anyone that was an adult at the time of Reagan's Inaguration will remember how good it was to not be saddled with an appeaser and a fool in the White House. Sound familiar??
Barack HUSSEIN Obama should be thanking whatever god he prays to, that George W Bush was HIS predecessor.

rick554,

Tell me about it. I enlisted in 1976, when Ford was still President, and things were bad enough. When Jimmy took over it totally went to shit. I was estatic when Reagan was elected. During his tenure, our pay, equipment, combat readiness, and moral improved 100%. God, I miss him.

typo: moral=morale.
